This weekend, the Ravens and Cowboys battled it out to the wire until the very last moments. It was an epic game, with a few twists that helped the Ravens win.
In the second quarter, Torrey Smith caught a touchdown pass that made the score 17-10. In the second half, after a field goal by the Cowboys, Jacoby Jones tied the NFL record with a 108 yard kick return for a touchdown. After some exchanges of points, the Cowboys were down by 8 points with four minutes to go.
Then, after two improbable fourth down conversions, Tony Romo found Dez Bryant in the end zone to bring the Cowboys within two points. On the attempted two point conversion, Dez Bryant dropped the ball, and the Ravens thought it was over. The Cowboys tricked them on the onside kick, and recovered with enough time to win.
Then, with 3rd and 25, Tony Romo brought the Cowboys into field goal range. All Dan Bailey needed to do was hit a 51 yard field goal to cap off this amazing comeback by Tony Romo. On the field goal, he pulled it left, and the Ravens won.
I couldn't believe the Cowboys defied all odds, and still lost. This was a thrilling game that came down to the wire, and I thought it was the game of the week this week.
