Class of 2013: Bill Parcells

In his 19 seasons as NFL head coach, Bill Parcells' teams won two Super Bowls and had only five losing seasons. The “Big Tuna,” as he was affectionately nicknamed, won respect with a tough but fair attitude and an unrelenting drive to be the best. During his long and successful career, he epitomized the classic tough guy with a heart of gold.

 

 

Bill Parcells Facts

 

He was named Coach of the Year in 1986 as head coach of the New York Giants, and in 1994 while as head coach of the New England Patriots.

 

He was named to the 1990s All-Decade Team.

 

He was the head coach for 4 NFL teams during his 19-year career (Giants, Patriots, Jets, and Cowboys).
