2012 Projection: Broncos Addition of Peyton Manning Means More Wins

Last Year’s Record: : 8-8

Predicted 2012 Record: 10-6

Players Added:
QB Peyton Manning, TE Jacob Tamme, CB Tracy Porter, DT Derek Wolfe, QB Brock Osweiler and RB Ronnie Hillman

Player Lost:
QB Tim Tebow, QB Brady Quinn, and WR Eddie Royal

Much like last season, the Broncos fortunes this year will depend on the performance of their Quarterback.  Tim Tebow’s journey last year from benchwarmer to playoff hero was nothing short of amazing. His leadership skills and penchant for 4th quarter comebacks combined to elevate him to folk hero status.

As fun as Tebow’s exploits were, he will be replaced this year by future Hall-of-Famer Peyton Manning.  After spending last year recovering from a series of injuries, Peyton arrives in Denver looking to reclaim his status as one of the best QBs in the game.  If healthy, he’s capable of elevating the Broncos into the AFC title conversation. It’s a big “if,” but we’re willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

The Defense is lead by last year’s Defensive Rookie of the Year, LB Von Miller, who combined with DE Elvis Dumervil, rookie DT Derek Wolfe, and future Hall-of-Famer CB Champ Bailey to form a solid unit.

All things considered, we view the Broncos as a team to watch this year.

Will the Broncos win more or less than 10 games in 2012?
