Packers Fly to Atlanta In Hopes of Grounding the High Flying Falcons
If the Atlanta Falcons could pick a team that they'd least like to face on Saturday night, it would be the Green Bay Packers.
The Falcons have been steady all season and opened up with a 7-1 home record. When the two teams met in November, the Falcons came away with the win 20-17, but on all other counts the Packers out-played them. The Packers are peaking right now and are a more balanced and more mature team than they were in November. The Falcons are going to have their hands full.
This is not to say that the Falcons are a roll-over. They find ways to win again and again and are especially tough at home. Matt Ryan is cementing his status as an elite QB and is more than able to face off against the surging, healthy, Aaron Rodgers.
The Packers are going to need to find ways to shut down the Matt Ryan express, especially if they get big games out of their punishing running tandem of Michael Turner and Jason Snelling.
