Wednesday night the NFL released the official schedule for the 2014 season.

Did your team get a favorable schedule?  Are you thinking "Super Bowl?"

Here are the top 10 cool things about the 2014 NFL schedule:

1. The Seattle Seahawks begin their title defense against the Green Bay Packers, in the Thursday night season opener.

2. Three games Week One games we can't wait for:

Indianapolis Colts vs. Denver Broncos

Cincinnati Bengals vs Baltimore Ravens

San Francisco 49ers vs Dallas Cowboys

3. Monday Night Football kicks off with a great doubleheader!

New York Giants vs Detroit Lions

San Diego Chargers vs Arizona Cardinals

4. The Patriots, Broncos, Colts, Steelers, Bears, Cowboys, Packers, Giants and Saints all have five primetime appearances.

6. The Oakland Raiders have the toughest schedule.  It’s just brutal!

7.  Jared Allen, Eric Decker, DeSean Jackson, Chris Johnson, Michael Johnson, Knowshon Moreno, Darrelle Revis, Steve Smith and Aqib Talb all play games against their former teams this season.

8. The Thanksgiving line up is chock-full of rival showdowns!

Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Baltimore Ravens

Seattle Seahawks vs San Francisco 49ers

9. Keep an eye out for a late season surge by the Green Bay Packers.  They play five of their final eight games at home, when the weather will likely be a factor.

10.  This is going to be another awesome year of NFL football!  Okay, we already knew that, but it’s true!
