The Ad Council is a private, non-profit organization, which identifies pressing social issues. The NFL will support the Ad Council's special initiative aimed at addressing the youth obesity crisis in the United States with a dedicated Public Service Announcement (PSA) using their "Be a Player, Get up and Play 60 minutes a Day" campaign message. This will teach kids and parents that the more you get up and play, the healthier you will be. Reggie Bush of the New Orleans Saints, Antonio Gates of the San Diego Charger and Jason Witten of the Dallas Cowboys are featured in the NFL PSA.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human services is the government sponsor on the Ad Council and the NFL PSA. For more information, please visit www.smallstep.gov
