On Tuesday, the Dolphins signed OL Jake Long from Michigan, making him the number 1 pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. The Dolphins had a tough season in 2007, partly due to holes in the offensive line. They hope to remedy that problem by adding Jake, the top OL in the draft. Jake is 6-foot-7, 315-pounds and was a two-time All-American in college. He becomes only the second offensive lineman to be taken as the top pick in the NFL Draft, since 1970.
