Playground Equipment Needed For Healthy, Active Children
City:  Kent, WA
School:  East Hill Elementary School
Teacher:  Ms. Onorati

My students need:

Do you remember recess during elementary school? Going out to the playground with your friends and playing with all of the recess playground equipment? At my school, we are in need of new playground equipment for all 500+ students to enjoy. My school is culturally diverse with over 80% of the students receiving free or reduced price lunch, and over 38% English Language Learners. I am requesting assorted playground equipment so that my students can be active for 60 minutes a day, just like the NFL recommends!

Jumping For Our Hearts!
City: Denver, CO
School Holly Hills Elementary School
Teacher Mrs. DiCroce

My students need:

The students at my school love PE and love to be active. However, PE is the only time, besides recess, that some of them have time to get physical activity. Many of our students do not have access to opportunities outside of school and when they go home, they stay inside and watch TV and play video games. I am requesting hop it balls to complement our jump ropes so that my students can be heart healthy and get the exercise they need!
