Week 12

Each week, while two teams compete on the field during NFL Network's Thursday Night Football matchup, two deserving youth health and fitness projects from the corresponding cities will face off here in the NFL PLAY 60 DonorsChoose.org Showdown.

Based on fan votes, NFL PLAY 60 will fully fund the winning project, while the other project will get 50% funding towards its goal. Vote now!

My students need:

I have about 250 students enrolled in weights class who work at a pace and with an enthusiasm that would impress most colleges. With 35 students in each class, not everyone has a chance to participate and make the most out of their time. My students need 35 medicine balls to give us more options for indoor activities in bad weather.

My students need:

My amazing students come from low-socioeconomic backgrounds. I try to structure the Physical Education program to provide exposure to a wide variety of activities in hopes they can discover something love and continue it throughout their lives. I am requesting complete sets of Pickle Ball equipment so my students can combine the traits of tennis, badminton, ping-pong, and racquetball in one, high-intensity, skill rich activity.
