 PHILADELPHIA at GREEN BAY In the battle between two great QBs - Eagles' Donovan McNabb and Packers' Brett Favre - Brett had the slight edge this game! The Packers won 16-13 on a last second field goal, by rookie kicker, Mason Crosby! |

Stand-Out Players:
Eagles: Donovan McNabb completed 15 of 33 passes for 184 yards. He had 1 TD, one interception and rushed for 9 yards. Brian Westbrook had 85 yards rushing and 46 yards receiving. Jason Avant totaled 54 yards receiving with 1 TD. Sheldon Brown had 1 interception and Trent Cole forced a fumble and had 1.5 sacks.
Packers: Brett Favre completed 23 of 42 passes for a total of 206 yards. He also threw 1 interception. Brandon Jackson rushed for 40 yards and 35 yards receiving. Donald Driver ended up with 66 yards receiving. And, Nick Barnett had 1 interception. Kicker, Mason Crosby won the game for the Packers with a last second 42 yard field goal.
Not Their Best Game: Eagles punt returner, Greg Lewis dropped a punt that led to a Packers TD in the first quarter.
Good Trivia: This win for Brett Favre was his 148th as a starting QB - that ties him with retired Broncos Hall of Fame QB, John Elway.

CHICAGO at SAN DIEGO The Chargers tamed the Bears offense, winning 14-3 in San Diego. The Bears did not look like Super Bowl contenders as Chargers' superstars, LaDainian Tomlinson and Antonio Gates tore the place up! |

Stand-Out Players:
Bears: Kicker Robbie Gould hit a 27 yard field goal for the Bears' only points of the game.
Chargers:Running back, LaDainian Tomlinson threw a 17-yard TD pass to All-Pro tight end, Antonio Gates, in the third quarter. LaDainian then scored a rushing TD in the fourth quarter. Antonio caught 9 passes for 107 yards, including the TD pass from LaDainian!
Not Their Best Game: Rex Grossman threw no TD passes and one interception.
Good Trivia: LaDainian's longest run of the game was for 10 yards - which is short yardage for this great player.

NEW YORK at DALLAS The Cowboys dominated the Giants, winning 45-35 in this high scoring game. Cowboy's QB Tony Romo had a career night beating Giants QB Eli Manning! |

Stand-Out Players:
Cowboys: Tony Romo completed 15 of 24 passes for 345 yards! Four of Tony's passes were TDs. He also rushed for 11 yards (including 1 TD) and threw one interception. Terrell Owens caught only 3 passes (for 89 total yards) in the game, but 2 of them were for TDs! Marion Barber had 65 yards rushing, 29 yards receiving and 1 TD. Jason Witten tallied 116 yards receiving and 1 TD.
Giants: Eli Manning completed 28 passes for a total of 312 yards. He threw 4 TD passes and 1 interception. Derrick Ward rushed for 89 yards and had 27 yards receiving for 1 TD. Plaxico Burress caught 8 passes for 144 yards and scored 3 TDs!
Key Injuries: On the Giants side: QB Eli Manning (shoulder), sack leader Osi Umenyiora, running back Brandon Jacobs (MCL), and defensive back Kevin Dockery all left the game with injuries. On the Dallas side: Nose tackle, Jason Ferguson injured his bicep and is out for the season.

Jets: Laveranues Coles caught 7 passes for 59 yards and scored two TDs.
Patriots: QB Tom Brady completed 22 of 28 passes for a total of 297 yards and three TDs. Randy Moss, the veteran receiver and newest Pat, caught 9 passes for 183 yards and one TD. Laurence Maroney rushed for 72 yards. Wes Welker had 61 yards receiving and 1 TD. On defense, Mike Vrabel had 1 forced fumble. Patriots cornerback Ellis Hobbs returned the second-half kickoff 108 yards for a TD!
Not Their Best Game: Jets' QB, Chad Pennington was 16 for 21 for 167 yards. He threw two TD passes before he injured his ankle in the 3rd quarter and was taken out of the game.
Good Trivia: Ellis Hobbs' kickoff return for 108 yards set a record for the longest kickoff return in NFL history!

DENVER AT BUFFALO In an action-packed, close game that came down to the last play, the Broncos slipped past the Bills, winning 15-14. The Broncos won on a last second field goal, kicked by Jason Elam. |

Broncos: QB Jay Cutler completed 23 of 39 passes for 304 total yards and 1 TD. He also threw 1 interception and rushed for 18 yards. Travis Henry had139 yards rushing. In the air, Javon Walker had 119 yards receiving.
Bills: QB J.P. Losman completed 14 of 21 passes for 97 yards. He threw 1 interception and also rushed for 13 yards. On the ground, Marshawn Lynch had 90 yards rushing.
Good Trivia: This was Bronco Jason Elam's 21st game winning field goal of his career!!

MIAMI AT WASHINGTON The Redskins found a way to prevail over the Dolphins in a hard fought game that went into overtime. The Redskins won 16-13, as kicker Shaun Suisham kicked the game-winning field goal. |

Dolphins: QB Trent Green completed 24 of 38 for 219 yards and had one TD. In the air, Chris Chambers had 92 yards receiving. On defense, Will Allen and Jason Taylor each forced one fumble! Kicker Shaun Suisham won the game, in overtime, with a 39 yard field goal for the Redskins.
Redskins: QB Jason Campbell was 12 for 22 for 222 yards. He also threw 2 interceptions and rushed for 29 yards. Running back Clinton Portis had 98 yards rushing and scored 1 TD. Antwaan Randle El had 162 yards receiving.
Injury report: Redskins right tackle Jon Jansen hurt his ankle and left the game.

Pittsburgh vs. Cleveland: In the Steelers 34-7 win, Ben Roethlisberger threw 4 TD passes!
Atlanta vs. Minnesota: The Vikings romp, 24-3.
Tennessee vs. Jacksonville: The Titans won,13-10, as Vince Young threw and ran well.
Carolina vs. St. Louis: The Panthers trounced the Rams, 27-13. Steve Smith had 7 catches for 118 yards and 1 TD for Carolina!
Tampa Bay vs. Seattle: The Seahawks won, 20-6. Shaun Alexander is healthy and rushed for 105 yards and 1 TD!
Detroit vs. Oakland: The Lions took no prisoners and conquered Raider Nation, 36-21.
Houston vs. Kansas City: It was all Texans in this lopsided victory, 20-3.
