1st game of the 2007 NFL Season:

The 2007 NFL season officially kicked off Thursday night in Indianapolis! Complete with great musical performances and the Colts Super Bowl championship banner on display for the excited hometown crowd, Super Bowl MVP Peyton Manning and the Colts started this season with a bang. They beat Reggie Bush and the pumped Saints, 41-10. The Colts offense and defense played hard and got huge results. Manning was The Man -- he led his team to score 31 points in the second half! On the other side, the Saints scored no points in the second half! The Colts defense completely shut down New Orleans running back, Reggie Bush and quarterback, Drew Brees.

STAND-OUT PLAYERS:

Peyton Manning threw 3 touchdown passes!	COLTS: PEYTON MANNING completed 18 of 30 passes for 288 total yards and threw 3 touchdown passes! REGGIE WAYNE had 115 yards receiving, including 2 touchdown catches! JOSEPH ADDAI rushed for 118 yards and 1 touchdown!
SAINTS: JASON DAVID forced a fumble, recovered it and ran it back for the Saints only touchdown.	Jason David scored the Saints only touchdown.

NOT THEIR BEST GAME:

DREW BREES, the Saints quarterback, completed 28 of 42 passes for 192 yards. But, he threw 2 interceptions!

REGGIE BUSH, the Saints stellar running back, only totaled 38 yards rushing!

GOOD TRIVIA:
The Saints starting cornerback Jason David was playing against his old team -- he was part of the Super Bowl champion Colts last year!
