Should Donovan McNabb Be Traded?

Over the last few weeks, there have been rumors that Donovan McNabb might be traded to another team this off-season. As you may know, McNabb is the Quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles. In my opinon, I believe that McNabb should not be traded to another team.

To begin, some people think that McNabb should be traded because of his age. Currently, McNabb is 33 years old. To me age is only a number. For example, look at the Minnesota Vikings Quarterback, Brett Favre. Favre is 40 years old, and is still playing football. He is one of the top Quarterbacks in the NFL today. Even though, Donovan McNabb might not move around like he used to, he is still a great pocket passing Quarterback.

Also, why McNabb should not be traded is because he is a great Quarterback. If I had pick the top Quarterbacks in the NFL today, I would say Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Brett Favre, and Donovan McNabb. Number 5 took the Eagles to the Super Bowl once, and will take them there again. I believe that this is the year when McNabb gets the weapons he needs on offense.

Last but not least, people want McNabb to get traded is because they say that he is the reason why the Eagles lose games. But, really it is the whole team. Football is a team sport, there is no "I" in team. When you lose a game, it is not because of the Quarterback it is because of the whole team. I am an Eagles fan and proud to be one. I want McNabb to stay but if he is traded, I will show Kevin Kolb the same support that I do McNabb.

I don't think Donovan Mcnabb should be traded because He's Good at throwing.At least he's not as old as Bret Farer(Sorry if i spelled it wrong). But he's getting there

i think he should stay , mcnabb been there his hole career , vick just there , and kolb hasnt had nearly enough playing time to take on the startin qb

I don't think so I think that McNabb has found the right spot to end his NFL legesy and that is the Eagles although I Think he will stick around awhile.

McNabb should be traded to a team that is losing a QB, maybe he could go the the Broncos, or to the Raiders.

I like McNabb because he has a lot of agility and has a lot of arm power. In my opinion I think he should stay in Philadelphia

i think that he should be traded to arizona for a first round draft pick. hten they should trade vick to buffalo for a 2nd or 3rd round pick. if this doesnt happen then the cardinals will draft tim tebow or colt mcoy
