Don't worry because we have some great tips for you:![]() You don't have to be in the NFL to play some football. Grab a group of friends and get a game going. With all the fun you're having, you won't even think about all the great work you're doing. Running and jumping gets your heart pumping and helps shape up your body. Get Swimming Swimming is not only lots of fun, but it is also one of the best ways to get your body working. By using your arms to pull yourself and kicking to push yourself through the water, you can get an awesome total body workout. You can play Marco Polo, water football, have some races and just have fun. Make sure you grab an adult to watch over you and jump on in! ![]() Do you know how to ride a bike? If you do, then you should get riding! Pedal your heart out because biking is a great way to get in shape and PLAY 60! Biking works out your legs and strengthens your heart. If you don't know how to ride a bike, learning is tons of fun. Ask someone to show you the basics and you can be off and riding in no time, but make sure you wear your helmet. Walk Get your family together and walk around the neighborhood. Walking is a great way to get moving without putting a lot of strain on your body. You can walk to the store, walk to school, go on a hike, etc. It doesn't matter why you walk, just get out and move. Do you have a dog? Well if you do, he needs to PLAY 60 too. Take your dog with you; just make sure your parents say it's ok. ![]() Have you ever wondered which of your friends is the fastest? Or the strongest? It's time to find out! You can put together a series of tests to determine the top athlete. Try a pushup contest, a sit-up contest, a couple of foot races (long distance and short sprint) and throwing accuracy contest. Think of some creative competitions and cheer each other on. You can practice these events and compete again every week to see if you can climb to the top. Help Out Look around your house and yard to see what needs a little work. Maybe your garden needs to have weeds pulled. Your room might need to be cleaned or the car washed. Helping around the house is a good way to do physical activity and help your parents at the same time! Your parents will be very excited to have you help them keep your house looking great. You can ask your parents what kind of household help they need and get it done together. ![]() Inside you there lives a kid just waiting to jump up and dance! You've seen cheerleaders do it on the sidelines and NFL pros do it in the end zone... now it's your turn. Dance alone or with friends, just pick out your favorite tunes and move to the music. You can even make up your own dance routines or end zone celebrations. Be creative and get into it. The more you move to the groove the better!
